7. Write the number of phases and components in the following heterogeneous system.

8. Give any two uses each of brass and bronze.
9. What are the sources of IR radiation in IR spectrometer?
10. What are the differences between flame photometry and atomic absorption spectrometry? Write any two.

11. (a) (i)What is an irreversible cell? Explain the irreversibility taking a suitable example.
(ii) Explain the principle involved in conductometric titrations. Give an experimental procedure for the titration between a strong acid and a strong base conductometrically.

(ii) Explain the principle involved in potentiometric titrations. Write an experimental procedure for carrying out the titration of a redox reaction.
